Hildesheim Cathedral

The Hildesheim Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary is one of the oldest episcopal churches in Germany. In term of its architectural history, the building dates back to the 11th century, but its historic origins extend back all the way until the year 815. Discover the Hildesheim Cathedral online.

Opening hours

You can visit the Hildesheim Cathedral Museum at the following times:

Tuesday to Sunday – 11.00am to 5.00pm
Monday – closed

The Cathedral Museum is closed on the 24th December and 31st December.

Prices

Adults: €6 per person
Children and persons under the age of 25 have free entry
Groups of 10+, students, disabled or social welfare ID holders: €4 per person
